“By investing in much-needed upgrades to the boat launch, we are ensuring Albertans can spend more time on the water, enjoying the outdoors with their family.”
“The Ghost Reservoir Day Use Area is very popular with boaters, sailors and day users, and is extremely busy throughout the spring and summer,” she said.
"Ghost Lake, a man-made reservoir some 45 kilometres west of Calgary on Highway 1A, has had its water levels maintained at a lower level during the spring flooding season for the last five years in an effort to reduce the risk of a flood."
